Nariendir is a part of Turendil magic.  Turendil is a greater group of systems of Elvish magic, which stands apart from Risteri.  Elvish magic is relatively new, and its spells are unknown, up until now.  Nariendir is the first public Elvish magic book to be introduced to the public.
